RASCAL FLATTS AND CMT CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF “UNSTOPPABLE” MUSIC AT 2010 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY, JUNE 12

NASHVILLE – June 3, 2010 – CMT will honor Rascal Flatts for 10 years of “Unstoppable” music at the 2010 CMA Music Festival on Saturday, June 12 at 2:00-4:00 p.m. CDT, followed by a short acoustic set in the convention center hall.  Rascal Flatts will sign autographs in the CMT booth located in the Greased Lightning® Fan Fair® Hall.  To commemorate 10 years of record-breaking sales, hits and more, CMT will award the band with a plaque at the celebratory event.  The event is part of CMT’s annual participation at the CMA Music Festival, which includes multiple opportunities for fan and artist interaction.

“Rascal's Flatts' influence has been pervasive across all of CMT's screens and businesses for more than a decade,” remarked CMT President Brian Philips. “It is our privilege to help them celebrate with their loyal fans at this rare, intimate CMA Music Fest event!”

Rascal Flatts’ Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney began their career in early 2000, and have since delivered 11 #1 singles to the top of the chart along with more titles in Billboard’s Top 100 Songs of the Decade than any other group in the format.  Over ten years, the band has sold more than 20 million albums and 25 million digital downloads, and are the most-awarded country group of the new Millennium.  The band has held ten #1 videos on CMT TOP 20 COUNTDOWN, were voted CMT Music Awards Group/Duo of the Year seven times by fans and have streamed more than three million times on CMT.com.
