Children Who Understand Marriage Equality

Are you ever looking to snag that "a-ha" moment, where someone finally gets that the struggle for marriage equality isn't about imposing "homosexual values" on the nation, but rather about recognizing the dignity and love between two people?

Sure, you could watch Sandra Bullock's Oscar speech over and over again. Or you could head over to the Human Rights Campaign's Web site and check out some video from yesterday's first day of same-sex marriages in Washington, D.C.

But if you really want to end your afternoon with the biggest dose of cuteness you'll find this month, check out the video below from, simply, Calen. Courtesy of TheColonelFrog, it was filmed the day after Thanksgiving this past year. Isn't it amazing that this child is able to put together the fact that two men and two women can love one another, and that love can be as special and just as meaningful as two heterosexual people who love one another?

God, if only children could be elected to Congress ....

Check out the video below. You'll feel happy for the rest of the afternoon.
