This song came out 2 years ago, on Trace Adkins' second Greatest Hits album, American Man. It won the 2008 ACM Award for Song of the Year. When I first heard it, I was truly mesmerised. The power of Trace's gritty vocals truly shine in this amazing song. Both poignant and moving, it has become one of my favorite songs of all time.
