Walt Loses Control! Will He Break Bad Again?

After the explosvie ending with Skyler's famous last words "I fucked Ted.", Walt freaks out and goes to her office looking for Ted, but he hid in his room and refused to come out, even more afraid after Walt threw a pot plant at his window. Well, Walt was removed by the guards, and then kidnapped by the bald guy who takes him to Saul. Ok, I have to say this. Saul sucks. He doesn't understand Walt's feelings at all and the meeting ends with Walt beating the crap out of him and firing him. Ouch.

Walt then proceeds to seduce the cute headmistress at his school to get back at Skyler, but she rejects his pitiful advances and fires him instead. Poor guy. Jesse meets up with Walt, requesting that Walt set up a meeting for him with Gus, but Walt refuses because he wants out of the meth business. Jesse shows him the latest batch, and Walt is appaled by the quality of Jesse's work. They fight, and Jesse sets of on his own.

Hank starts going off the rails too, when he got angry with his best friend. Throwing himself completely into the blue meth investigation, he finds new leads that might just lead him to Jesse, and ultimately Walt. He loses his promotion, but refuses to admit that he's too scared to go back there. What a wuss!

Skyler continues screwing Ted, causing the entire company to hate her and see her as a slut, which she is. Ted invites her to move in with him, but Skyler refuses, afraid of incurring Walter Jr.'s wrath. Gus accepts Jesse's deal, but only pays him half the money, giving the other half to a reluctant Walt. Someone drew an axe on the road outside Walt's house, proving that the cartel is not done with him yet.

To be truthful, I found this episode below my level of anticipation. I seriously expected Ted to get his butt kicked by Walt, but that doesn't happen. How disappointing. Skyler got her comeuppance too, when the whole company discovers her afair with Ted, so that was good. But now that Hank is acting like a pompous bastard, I'm starting to dislike his character. Jesse is growing up, and doing things himself instead of relying on Walt. Nice to see the other side of Jesse. He's no longer the jolly junkie of seasons 1 & 2, but down the road towards becoming a new Tuco.
